Here we go... I have a few cpu's, they have either win95 or win98. I have 4 NiC cards, 2 10/100, 2 10. One Linksys 10/100 dual speed 5-port workgroup switch. And one USR cable MODEM. I have the 2 10/100's in the soon to be gateway machine(which has win98), one takes the output from my cable modem in, and the other pushes it out to the switch, therefore, allowing me to connect five cpus to it. Now, what I'd like to do is utilize the switch for another cpu or two to connect, on a small network (if possible this way) My goal is to share the internet connection as well as network with each other. I may install NT on the gateway cpu, not sure right now. I understand all the tcp/ip, and other net protocols, dhcp, etc. Any suggestions, corrections, advise would be appreciated. Thanx!
