The old drive could be connected to the new one as a slave and a program like Partition Magic or Norton's Ghost could be used to copy the partition(s) from old drive to the new one. Or just use the Windows Explorer if you are intested in just copying specific files. I do that for my customers and don't charge for it when they buy a new computer. You can remove the stuff from the old drive sufficiently with fdisk. Again, I would do that for a customer. I for one would not buy a new computer from a person who previously sold me a lemon regardless of how good a deal it is. What makes you think you will get a quality, well-built computer this time instead of another lemon? Larry
