Q.  I am trying to get PC, but I can't decide whether I should build my own system or just buy a prebuilt system. I have never built a computer before, but I don't mind putting some time into building it. How difficult is it to build one by myself?

A.  It can be difficult; but, if you buy quality components, can follow instructions, and do your homework, it can be an interesting, enjoyable, and rewarding experience. A lot of people are doing it. You won't save any money, but you can pick quality components and be assured that you can upgrade the system in the future. See our How to Build Your Own Computer Articles and our Forums for details. I build my own.
