This sounds like a simple question, but I work on several computers from Win95 thru Win2000. I cannot get one of my Win98 computers, in Windows Explorer to show additional columns that I know exist, I see them on my other Win98 computers. I am trying to delete temp. Internet files, but keep the more recently accessed, and I CANNOT get the "last accessed" column that I know exists to show on this one particular computer. I can't even find a place to make changes like that. Details are displayed, but not the details I want. Help!

Yeah, I know, and in Win2000/NT, it's right click on the heading area and you can check and uncheck the columns you want to see. But that is not so in Win98. Thanks though.

"NOTE : Name, Size, Type and Modified settings are enabled by default.
Not all file formats will support these additional column settings. For example a Microsoft Word document can contain Author information, but a Notepad document cannot."

Yeah yeah… I went in the house and looked at my Wife's computer, which is running 98, and like you said, I could find no way to add columns. But her computer displayed that column. It is probably off the right side of the screen. To bring it back, press and hold the Ctrl key and hit the "big" + key, the one on the numeric pad. Larry
