rundll32 error in winMe
mimeryme May-21-01 02:27 PM
I get an error when trying to view my "Windows Setup" in the "Add/Remove Programs" of the Control Panel. If I try again, the "Windows Setup" is empty and when I try to exit the "Add/Remove.." the error comes up again.

This can be caused by corrupted files or out-of-date ,inf files (those from and older version of Windows). The simplest solution would probably be to restore Windows Me back to a previous configuration with Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore.
Software you installed after the Restore Point may have to be reinstalled. Larry
