Networking win98SE to win 2000pro
Wavebaby Aug-10-02 03:58 PM
I have two computers running on a network. I am using a spare computer to run the network. At this moment the two computers are running win98SE as well as the server computer and all is well (internet, file sharing and printing)

I want to upgrade one of the computers to win2000 pro so I have installed a second operating system (win2000 pro) on one of the computers. The problem is that I can't get the win2000 system to file share or print share but I am getting internet access on the Win2000 system. Both the server computer and the win2000 system are not showing up in Network Neighbour.

File and prints share are installed and I am sharing the folders for both system.

You have to create a user for each of the 98 machines on the 2k box
