Can't receive e/mail

We are using Outlook Express. We can send e/mail but we can't receive e/mail. We have talked with the ISP people and the POP's are sent and eveything is correct. We can login and it checks for e/mail, then it shows "No New Messages". We don't get any error messages. We can send and receive the e/mail using Netscape e/mail program. We have reloaded the OutLook Express. The OS is Windows ME, 5.5 sp 2 IE. We have sent test messages to ourselves. We have used both assiged e/mail name and the alias.
This has been going on for over a month. Whats really crazy, it work a month ago. ISP said they didn't change anything. (They always say that)Nobody has been able to figure this one out.

You might be able to learn what the problem is with MS KB Article ID: Q176548, OLEXP: How to Create a Pop3.log File for Outlook Express, at http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q176/5/48.ASP?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0&qry=receive%20e-mail&rnk=104&src=DHCS_MSPSS_gn_SRCH&SPR=OEX. It is usually caused by not using the correct pop3 mail server, but that will usually produce an error. Larry

Hi Larry,
I talked with the ISP people, they said they see it pass, but can't figure where its going.

Folders.dbx may be corrupted. Hunt for all instances of the file and rename them. Outlook should rebuild the file when it starts-up.
