When I am playing half life and all of the half life exspansions i notcie when turning the resoloution beyond 600X800 my game looks amazing but the control input moves are very sluggish. Turning down the res makes it all better. I have 32 MB Nvidia TNT2 Pro video card with a 700Mhz celeron proc. and 448mb of ram, should this be happening, I have tried updated rivers and reinstalling half life. Help

A comp in our school is a pentium 3 733mhz w/ 128mb of ram and a TNT vid card, I installed Half-life on it and put it at 800x600 and would have random sluggish movement and couldent really control the way I use the mouselook, changed the res to 640x and it was still acting sluggish just not nearly as much. I'm positive its the vid card since my voodoo 4 and ATI all in wonder work fine in Half-life.

This problem is caused by the frame rates slowing down too much as you increase the resolution. You may want to consider upgrading your video card.

Pentium 3 1000 @ 1100 ( windows 2000 server), Abit bx-133, 256 Mb Mushkin Rev.3 cas 2-2-2, ATI Radeon
AMD Thunderbird 1.4 @ 1.63 (24/7) IWILL KK266R , Corsairs pc 150 cl2, Leadtek GeForce 3
