temperature for amd athalon 1ghz

What temperature should the processor run at normally and how high is still safe to run it at if it were overclocked. I have an AMD 1ghz and an abit kt7 board.

Overclocking wont change temps until you up the voltage. Temps ideally should stay below 50c. Personally I do not like load temps over 40c. Make sure you have a good cooler, as well as some type of case veniltation.My Tbird is 35idle 40 load. (around there)
my p3 is 22c idle 35 load.
