Excel

I just ran across this today. On a pc running windows 95 with Excel for windows 95 version 7.0, I can not open spread sheets that were created on excel 97 or 2000. I get the error message "file format not valid."
Is there a way around this? These files wer emailed to the 95 machine and I can't get them open.

thanks!

Send the e-mail back and them reopen the file(s) and them /save as/ Microsoft Excel 5.0/95 WorkBook (*.xls )on the Excel 97/2000 machine .

Select/SaveAs/Drop down arrow and select M.S.Excel 5.0/95 format
