i need help with rundll32

my computer lost the file rundll32 and i can not do nothing, it told me the file is either invalid or missing, i have windows ME, can someone help me please i need to know what to do here.

The hard disk may have a virus on itů I would scan it first. There could be a hardware problem (memory, etc.). The rundll32.exe file is in base2.cab in the win9x folder on the Win Me CD. Put the CD in the computer you are using to connect to the Internet (hopefully it has Win 98 or higher installed), Double click the cab file and copy rundll32.exe to a bootable floppy (see http://duxcw.com/digest/Fromshop/software/windows/startup/startup.htm and http://duxcw.com/digest/Howto/software/windows/winme/startup/page1.html). Boot to floppy on the impaired computer and use the DOS copy command
(use C:\>copy /? for more info) to copy rundll32.exe to C:\windows. Come back if you need more help, OK? Larry

hey thanks i did scan my computer and i found something called sub7 on it, well i fixed it, i went to a friends house and got the files i needed so everything is running ok. thanks alot
