Re: W2K Pro Error
skora Apr-17-01 03:57 AM
Hi
I recently did a fresh install of W2K Pro and
get an error when I reboot that reads...

Program Error
CTSvcCDA.exe has generated errors and will be
closed by Windows. You will need to restart your
program. An error log is being created.

I don't have any idea what this program is. It
sits in the C:\WINNT\System32 file.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You
Scott

CT = Creative Technology... This only a guess, but try obtaining Win2K driver for the sound card. http://www.americas.creative.com/win2k.html. Now please come back and tell us if it worked… Larry

Hi Larry
Sorry, it took so long to get back but I don't
have a sound card installed. I have a GA-7DX
MB with built on sound. Do I still need to try to
find the drivers for that or should I look for something else.

Thank You
Scott

I would look for the drivers or disable the sound function. Larry
