what is server agent
rsierra Feb-27-01 08:09 PM
I am running win98 on my laptop. I found a service running when I ctrl-alt-del.

It's called msagent. I ran a find on it and found a .exe called agentsvr - I dont remember installing it. How do I go about finding out what is is? Is there a site than can help you define what is running on your pc? example vptray I have no idea what that is.

Thank you

Ralph

“Microsoft Agent is a set of software services that supports the presentation of software agents as interactive personalities within the Microsoft Windows interface.” See http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/imedia/agent/whatsnew.asp for more info. Larry
