Click, Start, Settings, Taskbar and Start Menu, Advanced, Add, Browse to your DOS program executable file, Open, Next, choose a folder for the shortcut (e.g., Programs), and enter a name for the shortcut. You can then go back into Advanced, click the advanced button, find your new shortcut, right-click it with your mouse, choose Properties, and change all kinds of parameters. The icon can be changed in the General tab. See Start, Help and enter “start menu” for more info. Larry
