when I try to drag and drop Data, Images, or MP3s to burn CD's .I can still copy a CD though. I think that by downloading IE 6 & Outlook 6 or other critical updates it changed my configuration and that the memory addresses are tring to be shared by the same program. Does this sound right ? If so does any one have any suggestions on the best way to get my system configured correctly again?

What program are you using to "burn" with? Try uinstalling it and installing it again. If that fails to help, remove the program that is failing and try Nero. It is by far the best program to use for copying data to CDR.

Pentium 3 1000 @ 1100 ( windows 2000 server), Abit bx-133, 256 Mb Mushkin Rev.3 cas 2-2-2, ATI Radeon
AMD Thunderbird 1.4 @ 1.63 (24/7) IWILL KK266R , Corsairs pc 150 cl2, Leadtek GeForce 3

Thanks for the Nero tip. I removed IE6 though which has a bug and is not compatabile with certain software to burn CD's. So a word of advice if you have a burner and it works fine becareful if you are going do update to IE6, make sure they have a patch for this problem or you know of another work around.
