removal of thermal compound
dc Jan-25-02 09:47 PM
I applied arctic silver to my cpu and when I spread it over the die, I got some on the circuit board that the die is mounted on. Does anyone know how to safely remove the compound from the board?

Unplug the power cordthent try a Qtip dry first, then finish moist with rubbing alchohol. Dry by blowing before plugging cord in.
