NON-ECC vs ECC Memory

What is the difference between the two memory types? Which is better?

ECC stands for Error Correcting Code. ECC memory has logic and extra bits to detect memory errors and correct many of them. Which is better? It depends on whether price or ECC is more important to you. I use non-ECC memory. Larry
