Does a processor that fits a socket7 also fit in a super socket7 and will it run okay if it does fit.

The sockets are the same. Whether a given processor will work with a specific motherboard depends on whether the motherboard supports the core voltage, front side bus frequency, and bus multiplier needed for the processor. In general, one can run a processor slower than specified and one should not run one faster (overclock) than specified. Larry
