I USED TO USE THE NET SEND COMMAND IN DOS MODE TO COMMUNICATE WITH OTHER PEOPLE ON THE NETWORK.
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO INITATE IT WITH WINDOWS 98 SE.
IS THEIR SOMETHING IN SETTINGS TO TURN ON TO DO THIS OR POSSIBLY USE NET MEETING?

if you go to start > run and type in "winpopup", you can use this to send messages to others who CURRENTLY have winpopup running.

The Win 98 cab files might be on your hard disk drive. Try Start, Settings, Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Windows Setup, System Tools, Details, and check the box for Win popup. If Windows canít find it specify a location and point it to c:\windows\options\cabs. Larry
