Aopen HX45A Power Supply Question!!

Currently have an Aopen HX45A mid tower with 250watt power supply. Can I can the power supply out for a 300watt? Has anyone done it?? Recommendations?

Are you asking if you can replace the 250 Watt ATX power supply with a 300 Watt ATX power supply? Yes. I like the Antic PS (http://duxcw.com/digest/Reviews/Cases/antec/ks282.htm) which is available separately (see http://www.antec-inc.com/product/powers/ps.html). Larry

Yes, you can replace your 250w and should if you are running an AMD processor. I have the same case and have replaced the 250 with a 300w. The unit I bought is the FSP300-60BT. Now here's the confusing part. The FSP Group sells their PS's under many names including Aopen. There is Sparkle, Fortron, Powertech and Source. They are ALL the same manufacturer. The BT unit above is the newest ATX 2.03 version. Your 250GTW is an ATX 2.01 and isn't on the AMD list.
