USB cable modem
gserve1 May-02-02 07:54 PM
I constantly loose my IP adress and need to re-boot to get it back. I am running windows 98 with the Motorola SB4100 cable modem hooked up per USB. The ISP tech support was no help. Can anyone help me? PLEASE! Thanks

Thatís not losing your IP address, thatís a bad network connection. The next time it happens, immediately see if you can connect to your service providerís web site. If you canít, call them right away and ask them why not. Larry
