Accessing 2 Networks
nbc Apr-30-01 03:18 PM
Hello,

One of my users has set himself up as a consultant, but will be working for us and accessing our network as he did as usual. He also needs to have access to his other company network. Is it possible to do this from one PC/Laptop.

The network at my company is an NT4 client server network, the other network will be a peer to peer network.

Thanks in advance

nbC

Will he need to connect to both networks at the same time? Larry

No, when he conmnects to our network it will be via either a dial up connection, or as is most likely, he will be in our office, and so will connect via his nic. The other network, as far as i can tell, will be via dial up only.

I've been asked this question a few times so I just made an FAQ out of it. It's at http://duxcw.com/faq/network/netsel.htm. Larry
