Internet Connection Sharing
craja69 Aug-23-02 00:07 AM
5 computers ( win95) are shared internet connection with 1 host with win98se-ICS using dialup connection. Since I am adding another 5 computers I would like to enhance the connection to DSL. However in case of failure of DSL, I would like to have dial up conection in 2 systems to share the internet connections(2) to all 10 clients. If i install ICS in 2 systems , a conflict message comes and disables the ICS in one sysem NOt in the IP level, since I have changed the IP of the Second Host from 192.168.0.1 ( Default for ICS) to 192.168.0.20 ( at NIC level and registry level)and networkneighbourhood works well not ICS.
