master boot record
steveleon Aug-23-00 03:02 PM
everyday i turn on my server it pauses after it goes through the bios, i've reinstalled twice already, because i forgot to make an erd, i'm dual booting between win98 and nt server, do you have any idea why this is happening all the time, i have not installed any hardware or software components that are out of the ordinary?
Any feedback would be appreciated?

Is it pausing or freezing permanently? How long is it pausing? What do you have hardware? Which operating system was installed first? Larry

It may be a memory problem. I would try slowing it down the processor. Sorry for the fast response. We are in the middle of moving. Larry
