Networking using my router
dr_meffert May-11-02 06:15 PM
I have a SMC 7004ABR router and i want to network two computers together. I am running Win XP on both machines. I was wondering if someone could tell me how i go about making it so the two computers can share files, and a printer and still be secure. Do i need extra software, or can you do it just in windows.

Cheers

http://duxcw.com/faq/network/xprouter98.htm. Also, disable the XP firewall (http://duxcw.com/dcforum/DCForumID2/1878.html). You have everything you need. Larry
