hello all... i am at a stand still as i have been for a day now... i networked two windows 98 SE systems.. with relatively few problems... then using one of those annoying free interent service providers(banners in all) and was able to use both at the same time to connect to the internet... with no problems... using one w/ an ICS client and the other as a gateway to the primary computer... and this worked... but for some reason when i installed Compuserve on the primary computer and tried to use IE on the secondary system.. it wouldnt work.. i tried several different things to try to get IE on the secondary computer to work... but nothing seems to work.... so i am wondering.. if anyone out there knows what different settings would need to be made to allow... me to sign on to compuserv. on the primary computer and be able to surf the web on the secondary computer??? on the secondary computer.. the dialup adapter andthe network cards are both set as gateways.. so if anyone has some advice or more detail instructions on how achieving this it would be greatly appreciated.
thanx

Compuserve is incomaptible with ICS, see Microsoft Knowledge Base article Q229248 at http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q229/2/48.ASP?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0 for details. Larry
